We know having a child with a learning disability, autism and other complex needs can come with unique experiences that leave you looking for an understanding peer group, in need of specialist advice, or unsure of where to turn to. Our Family Engagement and Support Workers are here to help you find the right support for you and your family.

There4Me is designed to provide parents and carers with the skills, tools and confidence to navigate the often challenging world of SEND.


EnableMe
EnableMe provides tailored information, advice guidance and support for individual parents and carers with a child with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. Parents can access support through informal enquiry, in person or by telephone, or self-referral via our website.

MeetMe
MeetMe provides a space and facilitates opportunities for parents and carers to come together to share lived experiences, build peer networks and enjoy a bit of me time.
We currently offer:
Chats & Tots- a weekly, free stay and play session for parents and children aged 0-5 with additional needs. No need to book- just come along!

ShowMe
ShowMe offers:
SEND Toy Library, where parents, carers and professionals can borrow items for use at home or within a professional setting for a small charge.
Downloadable information for parents and carers on a wide range of areas relating to SEND offering a mix of information, practical advice and support. E.g. sleep, supporting communication and sensory needs.
Downloadable digital resources on a range of topics to support parents and carers. E.g. communication cards.

TeachMe
TeachMe enables parents and carers to gain confidence and practical skills that they can apply within their family through face-to-face workshops and learning opportunities. E.g. Sleep Tight training
