Over 70 years ago, Leeds Mencap was created with the aim of improving the lives of those with learning disabilities in Leeds.

Through our Family Support Service, evening clubs, playschemes and community nursery, we directly help more than 780 children, young people and families each year. Indirectly, we support hundreds more who use the specialist facilities in our centre.
