“Leeds Mencap is a very supportive working environment where everyone works as a team and supports each other to create the best outcomes we can for the children, young people and families that access our services.” – Hannah Ford, Activities Coordinator
“I made the right choice by doing my apprenticeship at Jimbo’s Community Nursery-Leeds Mencap because there was such a welcoming environment from the beginning and all the staff were very caring and supportive. Staff support and training opportunities have certainly helped me grow as an apprentice by building my skills and knowledge." – Kashma, Apprentice
"My favourite thing about volunteering was coming into the office every Friday. I loved the calmness of the office and everyone who I encountered ... was nice and welcoming. The CEO always offered me a ‘posh coffee’ which was always a great cup of coffee and made me feel like a regular part of the team." - Mason, Volunteer
