Activity rooms
Leeds Mencap want the Vinery Centre to be a warm, welcoming space where everyone feels included.
Our activity rooms are flexible and can be hired out for any activity you can imagine. We have an outdoor play area with inclusive play equipment, a cycle track and sensory path. The rooms are bright and contemporary, come in a variety of sizes and have removable partition walls which means they can be hired individually or opened into larger spaces. Ideal for community or group activities from playschemes, social clubs, dance groups, community fun days to church groups for worship.

Activity room 1
This is the largest of our rooms and the most popular for larger events and meetings.
It has a large wall mounted TV for presentations and can be combined with activity room 2 to make a larger room.
Seats 30 conference, 40 cabaret and 60 theatre style

Activity room 2
Smaller than activity room 1 but still quite spacious. It has a large wall mounted TV for presentations and can be combined with activity room 3 to make a larger room.
Seats 20 conference, 30 cabaret and 50 theatre style

Activity room 3
This is the smallest activity room. It doesn’t have a wall mounted TV, but we do have portable TV’s and a projector that can be set up. This room is ideal for small children’s parties as it can open onto our soft play room.
Seats 16 conference, 15 cabaret and 30 theatre style.
How to book
Our friendly and helpful team can cater for most meetings and events, from small team meetings to group activities, training courses, workshops and many more. We’re happy to answer any questions you might have and advise you on the most suitable options for your needs.
The Vinery Centre is open to the public Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Weekend and evening hire is available, subject to availability.
