Friday Club

At Leeds Mencap we run a weekly social group for young people aged 18 to 25 with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs.

Friday Club at Leeds Mencap is our social group for 18 – 25 year olds with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs. With a focus on fun and friendship, Friday Club offers young adults opportunities to meet new people, spend time with friends, enjoy new experiences and develop confidence, skills and a sense of independence.

Sessions run mainly from The Vinery Centre with regular trips to a range of exciting venues such as theatre trips, bowling, trampoline parks, restaurants, cinemas and inclusive club nights where club members can dance the night away!

All our sessions are planned with group members to make sure that the activities we offer reflect their interests. Popular choices are movie nights, talent shows, games nights, karaoke and making the most of the great resources at our Centre, including our sensory room and soft play area.
