Bollywood Afternoon Tea fundraiser
The Civic Hall was the setting for an amazing Bollywood Afternoon Tea fundraising event, organised by Chiragi Solanki.
The hugely popular event was held to raise funds for Leeds Mencap as the Lord Mayor's Charity of the Year. The Lord Mayor of Leeds and Lady Mayoress, Cllr Dan Cohen and Elayna Cohen, were in attendance, as well as Leeds Mencap's Family Services Manager, Louise Maciag. The performances at the event showcased the talents of the children and young people that Chiragi works with, with dazzling costumes and Bollywood classics, from modern day hits to 1970s classics!
Since the event, more donations have taken the total raised to over £3400!
A massive thank you to Chiragi for putting such a great event together to support the work of Leeds Mencap!
