Changing Places toilet

Changing Places toilets are accessible toilets with specialist equipment such as hoists, curtains, changing benches and space for carers.

Why do we have Changing Places

Imagine what it would be like not to go out or to attend a club or activity you enjoy because the toilets aren’t suitable for you. This is such a basic need that we all take for granted and yet thousands of people with learning disabilities, as well as people with other disabilities, are excluded from being active members of their communities because standard accessible toilets do not have the right equipment or space to meet their needs.
