Groups and activities
It’s important that all young people have access to spaces that allow them to be independent, make friends, have fun, and feel supported and understood.
Here at Leeds Mencap we have specialist, fully trained staff and the facilities to make that possible!
Our groups and activities run predominantly from The Vinery Centre – a warm and welcoming space that is inclusive and accessible. Our group leaders facilitate the fun, but the children and young people are at the heart of the activities they decide to do!
Groups also have opportunities to go on visits to local venues across Leeds, to further develop their independence and provide more opportunities for exploration.
