Why support us?
As a local, independent charity your donation means that Leeds Mencap can continue to support children and young people with learning disabilities, and their families, with advice and practical help.
We need to raise all our own funds each year to keep running.
You can give a one-off gift, chose to fundraise for us, or give a recurring donation. You can also give in celebration – this could be for a special event or a birthday.
A regular monthly donation helps us plans for the future and ensure that we can continue to help young people with learning disabilities find independence & learn new skills.
Boost your donation by 25%
Tick the gift aid box to add an extra 25p to every £1 you give at no extra cost.
I want to gift aid my donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past 4 years, to Leeds Mencap. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all of my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Leeds Mencap will claim 25p on every £1 donated.
Help us continue to change lives and donate today, here’s how!
Why others choose us
“Making a difference to a local charity that helps children with learning disabilities across Leeds was really important to me. I can see the work that they do on the ground. I give Leeds Mencap a small regular donation every month as I want them to know that that they have that money coming in and can continue to plan for the future.”

Jim and Emily

She found it difficult to access social activities because of a lack of support for individuals with additional needs.Find out more
