Why others choose us

Here at Capita, we know just how important it is that we support our local charities. The teams on my client area all agreed that Leeds Mencap would be our worthwhile charity and for us to aim to raise at least £1,000. A member of our team has a niece who is Downs Syndrome and has made great use of the facilities for many years, and benefited from this great charity, and we take great pleasure in helping raise funds for such a worthwhile cause.

Who you will be supporting

  • Jim and Emily

Emily was born with a rare brain disorder which affects her eyesight and coordination.  She also has a learning disability and this meant that growing up she needed extra support at school and home.  She found it difficult to access social activities because of a lack of support for individuals with additional needs.
