Jim and Emily
Emily was born with a rare brain disorder which affects her eyesight and coordination. She also has a learning disability and this meant that growing up she needed extra support at school and home. She found it difficult to access social activities because of a lack of support for individuals with additional needs.

Our Impact
On average we have over 2,500 attendees to our centre every year. In a year we help over 200 families and in addition over 400 children to have full and active lives. We want to do even more.
Our reports have shown on average each year we have reduced isolation for over 370 individuals, improved employability for over 100 adults with learning disabilities and improved health and wellbeing for over 200 individuals.
We have been doing this for 60 years for the communities of Leeds and we need people like you to help us to continue to do this.
