The Rookery – Chapel Allerton
The Rookery is a residential home for 12 adults with a learning disability who may also have moderate physical and/or sensory impairment.
At the Rookery the staff aim to give the residents a warm and happy homelife, to treat them as individuals and with dignity and respect.
Resident’s needs are met by our staff team though a Keyworker system, which is linked to individual care plans.
These plans also involve the staff team and residents finding appropriate occupations and leisure activities, the aim being to further the life experiences and personal ambition of the individual.
We are located right in a quiet area in the heart of the local community. Within a few minutes you are in the hustle and bustle of local shops.
All our residents make full use of outside facilities and when they choose to relax at home they are able to do so, whether their choice is to watch television either in the communal lounges or in their own room, or have a game of pool or table tennis in the recreation annex.
It is our aim for the residents to enjoy their homelife and feel free to express themselves individually, with their rights, choices and dignity firmly at the forefront of care and support.
