Corporate Partnerships
Leeds Mencap has developed a number of brilliant Corporate partnerships over the last couple of years. We hope to continue to collaborate on fantastic new projects and encourage even more involvement from the corporate sector.
Leeds Mencap can offer a hands on approach to fundraising and we firmly believe that if a company makes a commitment to supporting us, we make a commitment to them. We pride ourselves on ensuring that staff know as much about the charity as possible, so we aren't simply an anonymous body accepting their support. We believe that if people have a good understanding of the where their fundraising is going they will have more passion and determination to pledge their support.
Corporate Partnerships can take a number of forms:
The possibilities are endless and we are open to all suggestions. One of our most successful corporate partnership to date involved a combination of all of these and the partnership was recognised by Yorkshire Forward in their Creating Better Future's Awards, the work done by Addleshaw Goddard and Leeds Mencap was named as the best community collaboration in Yorkshire.
Connaught recently donated their time, resources and expertise to Hawthorn Family Support Centre in association with Radio Aire, see the film below for the full story!
For further information about forming Corporate partnerships, please contact Lucy Young on 0113 2351331 or alternatively, send an e-mail lucy.young@leedsmencap.org.uk We would love to speak to you about how you can support Leeds Mencap and what we can do to make it an effective community partnership.
Leeds Mencap is aiming to start a Corporate Fundraising Group that would bring together individuals from a variety of industries to fundraise and support us on an ongoing basis. This would be a fantastic way to network in the business community and build new contacts whilst supporting the wonderful work that Leeds Mencap does.
